All foreign nationals entering India are required to possess a valid Indian visa. All individual visa seekers are requested to apply for the Indian eVisa online. Be sure to check whether your country is eligible for an eVisa here. Citizens of the following countries are not eligible for an eVisa :
Bangladesh, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Kazakhstan, Isle of Man, Romania, South Korea, Turkey.
Your passport should be valid for at least six months after your date of arrival in India. Your passport should have at least two blank pages for stamping by the Immigration Officer.
You should have a return ticket/ onward journey ticket, along with sufficient funds to spend during your stay in India.
The application for e-Tourist Visa must be made minimum 4 days in advance of the date of arrival.
Visa is valid for a single entry with a maximum stay of 30 days from the date of arrival and can be obtained twice in a calendar year and cannot be extended.
eTV is issued for a non-refundable fee of USD 60 plus bank fees.
Nationals of Yellow Fever affected countries must carry YELLOW FEVER VACCINATION CARD at the time of arrival in India, otherwise they may be quarantined for 6 days upon arrival in India. Please visit our Ministry Of Health & Family Welfare latest guidelines regarding yellow fever countries here.
The airport will have currency-exchange booths where most major currencies can be converted. However, we recommend that you carry pounds, dollars or euros for ease of conversion. Most large stores also accept international credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, etc.).
